If you planned to save Dine About for a slow weeknight at the end of the month, which restaurant were you counting on? The Park City Area Restaurant Association bills its 14th annual Dine About as a promotion for the whole month, October 1–31, 2026. More than 30 restaurants are taking part, with two-course lunches at $15, $20 or $25, three-course dinners at $30, $45 or $65, and $20 après specials.
Each listing on the association's page has its own dates, though, and those dates follow a pattern. The top tier shrinks as the month goes on. The lower tiers hold steady, and a few of them don't start until the month is already underway.
The $65 Tier Gets Smaller After the Oct. 24 Weekend
PCARA's 2026 page lists 14 three-course dinners at $65. Seven of them run through October 31. The other seven stop earlier.
| Tier | Listings on the 2026 page | End before Oct. 31 | Start after Oct. 1 |
|---|---|---|---|
| $65 three-course dinner | 14 | 7 | 0 |
| $45 three-course dinner | 8 | 0 | 2 |
| $30 three-course dinner | 2 | 0 | 1 |
| $20 après special | 4 | 1 | 1 |
The $45 tier never loses a restaurant. LOMA starts its $45 dinner on Oct. 2 and Red Rock Brewing starts its $45 dinner on Oct. 5, and both run to the end of the month. Matilda, Tupelo Park City, Hearth and Hill, Silver Star Cafe, Powder at Waldorf Astoria and Bangkok Thai on Main all list $45 dinners from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31.
These are the $65 end dates in calendar order, with the day of the week each falls on in 2026:
- Saturday, Oct. 24. Fletcher's Park City's $65 dinner ends.
- Sunday, Oct. 25. The 7880 Club at Stein Eriksen Residences ends its $65 dinner and its $25 lunch. Cena Ristorante & Lounge does the same.
- Wednesday, Oct. 28. 350 Main Brasserie's $65 dinner ends.
- Friday, Oct. 30. Handle ends both its $65 dinner and its $20 après special, and Shabu and Café Terigo end their $65 dinners.
So Halloween weekend is half as deep in the $65 tier as the first week was. Twisted Fern, Sterling Steak and Lounge, Grub Steak, Pine Cone Ridge, Grappa, KITA and Le Depot Brasserie are the $65 dinners still listed through Oct. 31.
Last Year's Closures Lined Up With These Dates
PCARA's page describes these dates as offer windows. They are not closure announcements, and as of early October no 2026 fall-hours roundup has been published by the association or the Park Record. Most of the listed restaurants show regular weekly hours. Until one of them announces otherwise, treat an end date as the last day of the deal and nothing more.
Last year's calendar still shows why the end dates cluster where they do. In its Sept. 17, 2025 roundup, the Park Record listed Fletcher's closed Oct. 26 to Nov. 20, 2025. Shabu had the same closure dates. The 7880 Club was listed closed Oct. 26 to Nov. 25. Courchevel Bistro was listed closed Oct. 26 to Dec. 4, 2025. It does not appear on the 2026 Dine About page. Those three 2026 Dine About participants all end their deals within the same few days that last year's closures started.
Cena is the one 2026 closure that has actually been announced. PCARA's listing for the restaurant at 7815 Royal St. says Cena Ristorante will be closed through December 1 for a full renovation, while Cena Lounge serves lunch and dinner. The notice doesn't give a start date for the closure. Cena's Dine About offers run Oct. 1–25. Before booking, call to confirm which room is serving the prix-fixe menu that week.
For anyone who wants Fletcher's, The 7880 Club or Cena at Dine About prices, the last realistic weekend is Saturday, Oct. 24 and Sunday, Oct. 25. Reservations for that weekend will be competing with the deal's final days, so earlier in the month is the safer plan.
The Cheaper End of the List Fills In
At the other end of the price range, the list grows during the month. Timbers Bar & Restaurant doesn't start until Monday, Oct. 12. Its $30 three-course dinner and $20 après special both run Oct. 12–31, so it's the latest $30 dinner to join. Red Rock Brewing's $20 two-course lunch and Luna's Kitchen & Juicery's $20 two-course lunch both start Monday, Oct. 5.
The cheapest listing on the page runs the whole month. Squatters Roadhouse Grill & Bar offers a $15 two-course lunch and a $30 three-course dinner from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31. Several other lunch listings also run through Halloween:
- Le Depot Brasserie, $25 two-course lunch
- Powder at Waldorf Astoria, $25 two-course lunch
- Bangkok Thai on Main, $25 two-course lunch
- Flanagan's on Main, $20 two-course lunch
- Deer Valley Café, $20 two-course lunch
- Hearth and Hill, $20 three-course lunch
Hearth and Hill's lunch is the only three-course lunch on the page, at the $20 price point. By late October the most affordable Dine About options are just as available as they were on Oct. 1, and in a few cases more so.
Two Saturdays on Historic Main Street
October's busiest Main Street afternoon is not part of Dine About. The Park City Shot Ski comes back to Historic Main Street at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Park City Sunrise Rotary Club and High West Distillery are marking ten years of the event, with participants lined up along a communal shot ski to drink High West Double Rye Whiskey. This year's fundraising goal is $86,000 for local organizations, and tickets are sold at parkcityshotski.com.
A Dine About après stop works well that afternoon. Alpine Distilling Social Aid & Pleasure Club at 364 Main St. lists a $20 après special every day from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31. Sterling Steak and Lounge also lists a $20 après special for the full month.
The other Saturday is Oct. 31. By then the $65 list is down to the seven restaurants that run through Halloween, while Silver Star Cafe, Matilda, Grappa and Le Depot are still taking Dine About orders.
Monday, Oct. 12 Is Also When Winter Booking Opens
The Monday that Timbers joins Dine About is also when winter reservations open on the mountain. Deer Valley's pages for Fireside Dining, The Brass Tag and Cast & Cut currently say "Closed for Season." Online evening reservations for all three open on October 12, 2026, at 9 a.m. MST. Oct. 12 is the date booking opens. None of the three pages gives a reopening date. Deer Valley Resort is aiming to open for the 2026-27 season on Saturday, Dec. 5, conditions permitting.
That puts two dining deadlines a few days apart. A Fletcher's or 7880 Club dinner at the $65 price has to happen by Oct. 24 or 25. A December table at Fireside Dining can be booked starting the morning of Oct. 12.
Further out, Outbound Park City in the former Yarrow and DoubleTree building has announced Billy & Co. and June Bar for an expected spring 2027 opening, with reservations starting April 1, 2027. Those restaurants won't be part of this October's Dine About.
PCARA's dates can change, and a restaurant's own notice takes priority over the promotion page. Check with the restaurant before you book a late-month table at one of the early-ending participants.
